Kazu Haga
Nonviolence and Restorative Justice trainer & practitioner; Author of 'Healing Resistance: A Radically Different Response to Harm'
Background
Kazu Haga a trainer and practitioner of nonviolence and restorative justice, is a core member of the Ahimsa Collective and the Fierce Vulnerability Network and author of Healing Resistance: A Radically Different Response to Harm. He works with incarcerated people, youth, and activists from around the country. He has over 20 years of experience in nonviolence and social change work, having played leading roles in various movements and organizations. He now resides in Lisjan Ohlone land, a.k.a Oakland, CA.
At the School of System Change
Kazu is a contributor on Constellating Change in 2023/2024. He is taking part in session four on Transforming conflict along with Leonie Smith.
Kazu works at the intersection of trauma healing and social change, looking at how trauma impacts our ability to create transformative change and reconciliation while unjust systems impact our ability to create healing at scale.
